This morning I went out to an Adult Family Home to meet with a young woman to do some person-centered planning. While I was waiting for things to get started, I noticed another young woman sitting on the couch, with a book open on the coffee table in front of her. She was working diligently with pen and paper. At first I thought she must be doing homework, but when I looked more carefully I could see it was a cookbook she had in front of her.
Me: Are you copying a recipe?
Young Woman: No, I am downloading it.

This reminds me of a couple of weeks ago, when Jack (my five-year-old) was watching TV, and the cable went out. On the screen was snow.
Jack yelled, "Mommy, I need to refresh the TV!"
