My son loves his Dad's meatloaf. In fact, he seems to have a meatloaf obsession. Kellen likes to eat, but he is good about eating what is on his plate and not asking for more helpings. Usually, it is out-of-sight out-of-mind. That is, unless we are talking about meatloaf. He cannot seem to get enough. Tonight I fixed him a plate for dinner which included some leftover meatloaf. After he was done, he asked for more. I told him that he could have some more tomorrow and gave him some grapes. For the next twenty minutes he continued to ask for more. Finally he fetched the entire meatloaf from the refrigerator and put it on a plate and into the microwave. I quickly rescued it, cut a slice and wrapped the rest up for the refrigerator and another day. I choose my battles. I gave in. Who am I to stand between a growing young man and his meatloaf?

Yes, a young man and his stomach!
Good call!
Very wise of you. I know there are times that someone may lose a finger if they don't keep an arm's length distance from me while I'm eating. Mmmm...now I have a craving for mashed potatoes.
