Decisions decisions

I try to give Kellen as many choices as I can. Sometimes it is hard for him to make a decision and articulate it. Yesterday we went shopping and out to lunch. On our way to the cafe, I saw some nice shorts that I thought Kellen might like. He said he liked them. The following conversation ensued:

Me: Kellen do you want to try on clothes, or do you want to go eat lunch?

Kellen: ...yes

Me: Which one do you want to do? Try on clothes, or eat lunch?

Kellen: ...I want to....try.......lunch

Me: Ok, let's go eat lunch

Well, Jodi, that doesn't sound much different than the conversations I have with my typical teenage boy.
And when faced with trying on clothes or lunch...I'm with Kellen!
Lunch wins, hands down!
