Freaky Friday

It's been a very strange day. For one thing Kellen had a really hard day....crying off and on and not able to tell us why. He hardly ate anything all day and finished the day by throwing up.

Even stranger was this: I saw a bear today. We were driving on a wooded road to visit my sister and a bear lumbered across the street not too far in front of our car. That's the first bear I've ever seen around here and we were quite surprised.

Anyone else have a weird day?

Well it WAS Friday, the 13th.

Do you think there is anything "organic" going on with Kellen? A viral infection? Allergy? Besides the hormonal imbalance?

Longshot (and maybe you'll think a bit off the wall): has Kellen ever had a hair analysis? A hair analysis can measure levels over time, of certain trace minerals-- and maybe vitamins, too. Sometimes a deficiency (or very high levels that may be toxic) of certain trace elements are found . . . and you can alter your diet to re-balance.

Another longshot: Do you guys live in an older home with lead paint?

Is it possible that there is some medication interaction that is making Kellen feel depressed? This is easy to find out from your pharmacist . . . who can just look over all his meds and figure it out. Pharmacists are under-appreciated resources---they are so smart, in my experience.

HI, also sending prayers that you are able to figure out this mystery. I know it is hard to not be able to fix his discomfort. Here we look at seizurey things when Dustin has off days that end up with stomach problems. And yes , it is hard when they cannot put into words what exactly the problem is.....Anne
