Four and a half years ago I met my first set of newborn triplets: two boys and a girl. I was called because one of the boys was born with Down syndrome. These babies were born into a very loving, caring family.
The Levin family has since moved to Colorado, but now and then I hear from them via email. A few months ago I learned the scary news that one of the boys, the one without Down syndrome, was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a debilitating muscle disease.
