Plan B

The plan was to meet Sweet Husband and Kellen at the naturopath at 1pm today. I got a call on my cell phone a little after noon and it was Sweet Husband in a bit of a panic because he couldn't get Kellen motivated to leave the house.

Several phone calls and a few stressful moments later...we decide to abort the mission. Cut to Plan B. Plan B was made up on the spot. One must always have a Plan B when it comes to Kellen. Plan B was hatched during my frantic drive up to the naturopath's office. Plan B was for me to go and talk to the doctor without Kellen. We called Sweet Husband on speaker phone so he could tell the doctor what medicines Kellen takes and the dosages.

Do you know how I know I was meeting with a naturopath? Because. Because she pulled paint chips out of her drawer and asked me what color Kellen's stools usually were. She didn't mean bar stools either. She had yellow and brown paint chips and I was supposed to point to a color that closely matched. I'm just now realizing how weird that was. Okay, I'm over it.

More fun will be had when I go to the health food store and buy all the stuff she wants me to try giving Kellen. Even more fun will ensue as I convince Kellen to ingest the supplements and stop eating bread. The most entertaining moment will be when I try to talk our insurance company into paying for her bill and the extensive blood work we will have done. Stay tuned for more about Plan A, Plan B and even Plan Z.

Hang on to those paint chips. You may want to paint your kitchen backsplash mocha-poo brown, or morning-urine yellow.

Golly! I suppose the paint charts work for comparison.......I hope you're not colour blind as pink would worry me.......

I think we're on Plan L for the time being, hope you don't end up at Z.

Cheers

I have a strong feeling you're on to something...

Have you ever listened to the DVD's of Gary Martin who's also a naturopath?

I hope that you can get Kellen to co-operate and that you needn't go to plan Z...

Please keep us posted! This is a path I am considering for my son, who has an extremely limited diet- I don't know how I would get him to take all kinds of supplements either.

I think you are thinking outside of the box which is good because this is where you might figure out something. Personally hit the health food store yesterday myself....reading a book called BRAIN TRUST, has me putting some new supplements into Dustin. YOur experience yesterday brought back memories of first time we tried acupuncture on Dustin. He was there , lying down, with multiple tall needles coming off his right hip....we thought, hmmm. Having grown up in Ohio, now being in california..we just said....Dorothy, we are not in Kansas anymore!
GOod luck.....anne
