Memorial Day

The old and the new. This picture used to hang in my great-grandmother's dining room and my mom has good memories of eating at her grandmother's table and looking at this painting of strawberries in a bowl. I'd love to find a special place in my house to hang it, but for right now, it's hanging out in my kitchen without counters.

We're packing up our entire house this weekend so that we can lay new hardwoods this coming week and refinish the old ones.
